Quotations and Pricing
Quotes are valid for a limited period and are based on the scope, materials and site conditions known at the time of quotation. Prices may be revised where work uncovers conditions that could not reasonably have been identified beforehand, such as unexpected ground conditions, existing structural defects, or hidden damage found once linings are removed.
Any variation to the agreed scope will be priced and confirmed with you before that work proceeds.
Client Responsibilities
Clients agree to provide accurate information and timely access to the property, respond promptly to communication and decisions, and notify us of concerns or changes as early as possible. Where the property is subject to covenants, easements or body corporate rules, the Client is responsible for disclosing these. Delays or additional costs may result if these responsibilities are not met.
Company Responsibilities
Buildworx Waikato will carry out work in line with the New Zealand Building Code and relevant building standards, maintain health and safety on site, communicate clearly through the job, and respect client property and keep disruption to a minimum.
Liability and Warranties
To the extent permitted by New Zealand law, Buildworx Waikato is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from website use, and continuous access to this website is not guaranteed.
Workmanship warranties are provided in accordance with the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 and the implied warranties for residential building work under the Building Act 2004. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for negligence, fraud or misrepresentation, or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
